What I do

Accomplished engineering leader with experience bringing ambitious new ideas to market, scaling hugely popular consumer mobile apps, and creating the world-class teams behind them.

I'm a natural and energetic technical communicator who finds it second-nature to bridge product strategy and software engineering.

I highly value culture and ownership. Culture means honest communication, trust, collaboration, and supporting each other. Ownership means strong delegation, letting individuals and teams take the initiative and being responsible for the outcome not just the way we get there.

I am currently at Paddle where I lead a fully remote team working on scaling payments infrastructure.

I was previously at Cuvva where I built and led multiple engineering teams during series A growth, typically focussed on financial and insurance systems.

And before that I was CTO at Car Throttle while we were one of the most visited automotive websites in the UK and developed a 5-star rated community forum mobile app.
